I just wanted to recommend a fic for our fellow Harmionians. It’s by atruwriter on Portkey and Fanfiction.net, it’s called Survivor.
In a story where Hermione dies, we follow Harry on his quest for revenge. It’s all from Ron’s POV (some Runa there, too) and it’s quite the emotional rollercoaster. You really get a feel for how deeply Harry loved Hermione.
I just think it’d be a great thing to share with you all.

An unknown Harmony fan runs this excellent, automatically updated archive of Harmonian fics, all of them presented as single HTML files. They have good taste too so by going here you’re accessing mostly better quality fics. You’ll also find some fics that have been taken down by their authors on other sites (I particularly recommend Harry Potter and the AUDH). Finally, there’s a useful tagging system for sorting the stories thematically (alternate universe, wrong boy who lived, weasley bashing, etc). The NHR tag indicates the small number of stories that are specifically non-harmony.

Dearly Beloved by Digifruit, rated T
Harry uses a non-magical camera that belonged to his mother to take pictures of Hogwarts Hermione can send back to her parents. Through the viewfinder he comes to see her in a completely different light.
Note: Read everything this author has written. It’s all fantastic.
That Old House by Vanillaparchment, rated K+
During the war Hermione discovers a group of magical orphans who have slipped through the cracks between the magical and non-magical worlds. Taking care of them is going to be a lot of work - good thing Harry’s there to help.

Remus Lupin, P.I. by Larryhuss, rated T
Straight out of Hogwarts and struggling to find work a young Remus Lupin is inspired by ‘The Maltese Falcon’ to become a private investigator. This is going to be a very good thing for Harry and a very bad thing for Voldemort.
Notes: Not a completely Harmony centric story but huge fun. The pairing for Harry is actually a well written three way. Remus fans will love this fic if they’re not wedded to the idea of pairing him with Tonks.
Nocturnal by Forcedinduction, rated M
Things go differently after Hermione’s polyjuice accident in second year.
Notes: Some people might find the level of intimacy (it stops short of sex) between Harry and Hermione in this fic either distasteful or OOC. If it bothers you skip over it to get to the humour. It’s worth it. This is sort of a crack!fic The author is partway through an even funnier sequel.
Larceny, Lechery, and Luna Lovegood! by Rorschachsblot, rated M
This is a total crack!fic Harry and Hermione become accidentally married and take up his parents’ old professions as master thieves in order to bankrupt the deatheaters. Then things get weird.
Notes: Rated S for silliness and F for fun.
Today I have some fantastic long fics to recommend which you might or might not have heard of before.
The Other Boy Who Lived by Kwan Li, rated M.
Brilliant AU fic in which Neville is the BWL and Harry is the outsider who falls in love with his sidekick, Hermione Granger. Or is he?
Notes: Lots of great moments, but although this fic starts out at Hogwarts it will take you on a real emotional rollercoaster.
Harry Potter and the Temporal Beacon by WillyoLioleo, rated T.
Hermione, ever the overachiever, invents an entirely new form of time travel. Now she and Harry have infinite chances to defeat Voldemort.

Coming Back Late by Paracelsus (Alchymie on ff.net), rated PG-13.
After clashing with Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest Harry does not return immediately to his body. More than a decade later Hermione Granger, The-Witch-Who-Won uncovers evidence that Harry Potter is still alive. So begins and adventure of investigation, crime and political intrigue. And some passionate romance, too.

Breakfast In New York by Radaslab, rated M
After years of unintentional separation Harry and Hermione run into each other while on business in the Big Apple. Can they reconcile and will the surprises each has for the other help or hinder the situation?
Note: Radaslab’s style isn’t for everyone, but if you don’t mind harem fic you might find some of his other (even longer) stories interesting as well.
Bearings by MattD12027, rated M
After years spent at college in America Harry returns to England, to Hermione and the magical world. This is a fluffy fic that hits a few cliches but it’s a good fic for fluff and feelgood.
Notes: The fic is completed. This author can also be found on portkey under the same name and his current but uncompleted fic, Tempus Fugit, is also a good read and perhaps more maturely written than Bearings.
This is a list of Harmony fics that put Harry and Hermione together in an Austen-esque setting, except for ‘Magic and Misperceptions’ which uses the plot of Pride and Prejudice to unite the characters.

You guys, I’m DESPERATELY looking for a fanfic and I’ve searched everywhere, used up all the ways I know of, and still can’t. I was wondering if you all could help me?
It’s this one where Harry and Hermione used to be together but they had a fallout after she miscarried their baby. And so she leaves Britain and they don’t see each other for years and when she comes back, it’s for his and Ginny’s wedding at the Burrow. And she tries to go but she and Harry run into each other and have an epic fight and then idk how it ends.
Does that ring any bells at all? I get the feeling that it’s probably a really old one, idk why.
